Most firms tendering for a contract tend to produce a tender that is not much different to their competition.

Remember, the key to winning business is to stand out from the crowd. Most of your competitors will copy each other and submit tender documents that could have been written by the same group of executives.

Yes, you have to submit all the necessary information your prospect is looking for to qualify as a potential tenderer. But don't stop there.

Merlot Constructions was competing against 25 major commercial builders, hoping to win a major construction project with Kemps Creek Sporting And Bowling Club.

Like all commercial builders, Merlot Constructions, Managing Director, Peter Deall, realised that to get ahead of his competitors, he had to do something different, but what?
